O’Life-OZ tablet is a combination of two medicines, Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. It is a part of a class of drugs called fluoroquinolones. This is an antibiotic medicine that kills bacteria and hinders their growth.
It works by inhibiting an enzyme required for the bacterial DNA to replicate. This blocks the multiplication & growth of bacteria and results in the eventual death of the bacteria.
It interferes with protein formation process, leading to the death of the bacteria or protozoa. It is used in treating conditions such as gastrointestinal infections such as acute diarrhea & dysentery, gynecological infections, lung infections and urinary infections.
